I’m a proud single mom of two boys who have been playing sports since they were just 4 years old. Over the years, we’ve done it all—baseball, basketball, gymnastics, soccer, and of course, football. If there was a field, a court, or a chance to compete, we were there. But behind those moments were real challenges. There were times when paying registration fees felt overwhelming, and finding extra money for the gear they needed—cleats, gloves, socks—was even harder. Like many parents, I had to figure it out as I went, determined not to let financial obstacles stand in the way of their dreams.

Today, I’m incredibly proud to say that both of my sons have earned scholarships to play college football. That journey wasn’t easy. It was filled with sacrifice, uncertainty, growth, and moments that tested our faith and resilience. But it also brought some of the proudest moments of my life.

Through this experience, I realized something bigger—there are so many talented young football athletes who never get the same opportunities simply because their families can’t afford the basics. And I know that struggle personally.

That’s why this platform is more than just a blog. While I’m here to share real, unfiltered lessons from our journey and create a supportive space for football moms navigating this path, I’m also committed to making a difference beyond storytelling.

My mission is to support families facing the same challenges I once did by providing essential football gear—cleats, socks, and gloves—to young athletes in need. Because every child deserves the chance to step on the field prepared, confident, and ready to compete, regardless of their financial situation.

This is about more than football. It’s about opportunity, confidence, and showing kids that someone believes in them—even before they believe in themselves.
